A Nantlle Valley football club hit by burglars and vandals has been given police funding.
A temporary CCTV wildlife camera was installed in the changing rooms of CPD Llanllyfni after a spate of incidents. They managed to catch the youths responsible for damaging the building.
Now, the club has been given a Police and Community Trust (PACT) grant for two permanent CCTV cameras and anti-climb paint to stop youths from climbing onto the roofs.
PCSO Sammie-Leigh Williams said: ”We hope that the addition of the wildlife cameras and anti-climb paint to the club will deter anti-social behaviour and result in less criminal damage to the area.”
North Wales PACT, which marks its 20th anniversary this year, is a community safety charity supporting and sponsoring grass-roots neighbourhood projects across the region.
